AP Studio Art Intro

Hi, I’m Amanda. I’ve taken photo 1 and 2 with Martin, pottery with Delaney, paint studio with Donahue, art studio, draw studio and advanced draw studio with Timko here at Evergreen. I’d probably have to say that my favorite media to work with is oil pastels. I really like doing high contrast black and white pieces. I also like working with acrylic paints and clay.

Hello fellow art people. My name is Alli. I am a senior and evergreen high school and this blog is for my AP Art Studio class. I enjoy all Artsy things including; Music, Photography, Drawing, Painting, etc. All though drawing and painting is not my strong suit unless you consider finger painting and stick figures talent. My real passion is Music and Photography. I have taken both these classes (Choir & Photography) at Evergreen and i have also taken guitar lessons and singing classes outside of school.. One thing about art is that you can go any where in the world and find it. For instance, I traveled to Paris, France with a group of art students and teachers from my school to explore the art and culture of the French. While traveling there i found that i dont have a favorite artist..why you might ask...Well i believe that each artist has there own unique indiviuality. So therefore, i dont have one. I like them all :) thank you for reading my thoughts :)

Intro

Hi, my name is Hannah ; honestly I wasn't planning on taking any classes at evergreen this year until Timko called me and told me I had signed up for AP art. Somthing inside me just really wanted to take the class, so here I am. I've taken two art classes in my entire life and they were both at clark last year: drawing 101 and ceramics 101. I've never thought of myself as an artist and that's partially because my sister is such an amazing one. She was one of the editors and illistrators for the Phoenix, and on top of it she got five pieces in. I have a lot of exposure to art in that way, because she's always pelting stuff down my brain. Personally I like throwing, sewing, and painting (abstract).

My Photo Experience

Hello, I'm Tanya R. I have taken photo 1&2 and I loved it so much I'm in AP photo now. I don't like to leave the house without my camera because if I see something I want to take a piture of I have my camera with my and don't have to worry about figuring out how to take it later. Black and white photos are my favorite because they are timeless. And taking pictures of flowers and nature is what I like to do. One of my favorite photographers is Dorthea Lange because she captures the emotion of her subject at that time.

Hi! My name is Marieka and I have taken Drawing class during my freshman year with Mrs. Shea, took Advanced Drawing with Mrs. Timko in my Junior year and now I am currently in AP Studio Art. I like working with color pencils and chalk, I admire the works of Miriam Schapiro, and over the summer I have created works inspired by whatever I have on my iPod. Drawing and an eye for detail has always been my best assets, but everyday I am learning and always trying something new.

Keefer

My name is Keefer V, im 17, a senior at evergreen highschool that is in AP Art Studio.
On my free time i like to blast my music and draw. I have been drawing since i was little, I've been active in some contests and art shows at my school. I have taken Drawing studio, Advanced Drawing studio and now AP Art studio. Some of my Favorite artists Are Alex Pardee, "Cope", "Atlas", "Bates" and "Syras." Some medias that i like are, Sketches, Paint and Ink Drawings. This summer i plan on Drawing a lot more at home and possibly take some drawing classes at Clark College.

Hello, im jose.. for me my experience with art has been that ive taken drawing studio, ceramics, cartooning, and a little bit of 3d animation. i would say that i perfer to construct or to make things that are related to art, for instance designing. but drawing also catches my attention. one of the "artists" that i admire is clothing designer Guo Pei, her work is architectural and fantasy like. thats the kind of technique that i like...

My name is Mihai Baltatatescu but you can call me Mike. I have taken Drawing Studio my Sophomore year as well as Advanced Drawing Studio my Junior year, and now I've progressed all the way up to AP Art. I like using charcoal and graphite but I can also work with colors. My favorite artist was Leonardo DaVinci because his name is similar to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
