Miriam's Slide

This is a painting I did last year for paint class, we had to use reference pictures for the foreground, middle, and background. Its done on wood using acrylic paints.

Zach Bagley Last year pictures

This is a detail of one of my concentration pieces last year. I used watercolor and was representing motion with the wind in the picture and the flow of the cape.

This is a piece I did in prismacolor marker(cool grey) last year. I really like the balance of light and dark in it.

In this piece I took water color and let it run around on the paper. After that i drew faces, outlined them in india ink, then colored the faces with colored pencil. I wanted to put the focal point on the screaming face.

i made this sculpture in donahues pottery class. i tried to make it anatomicly accurate. and i painted it instead of glaze.

i did this picture with colored pensils and on paper.

I used oil pastels on this picture. it was kind of to resemble indifference or being alone in a large crowd, however you interpret it.

I did this picture in drawing studio last year, its just pensil.

Justy Justin

I did this piece during independent study last semester.
I used medium fire clay to sculpt the piece, plaster to touch up after the first firing, and finally brown shoe stain to give it color.

This is one of my summer assginments. I used only pencils and reflection on the tap inspired me.

This is one of my summer assignment, too. I used charcoal and the light behind me inspired me.

Jackee's Art Shizzam!!!

Junior year second semester during Delaney's 6th period. The assignment was to make something organic. I decided to make a starfish, the white glaze didn't turn out glossy but still made the starfish look nice giving it more texture.

Made this Junior year, it was the last assignment we did in Delaney's 6th period. I was a bit lost on what to do with paint, glaze wouldn't have turned out too well (i was also out of time) so this is my first time using acrylic paint in pottery.

Also made during my Junior year in Delaney's class. I like the color a lot but the glaze was a hassle to use, it would dry and then peel off by itself.... so I ended up repainting this piece over 3 times before it was safely put into the kiln for final firing.

Colored pencil and marker on paper. Summer work, suppose to be the "Expressive Mood" assignment. Mood is ambition.

Graphite on paper. This picture needs to be reshot because of the glare on the bottom right corner. This is a still life drawing from last year in Donahue's painting class.

Acrylic on canvas. This is a summer painting of my mask I made for a birthday party.

Acrylic on canvas. I made this last year in Donahue's painting class. I have always wanted to paint a farmhouse. I tried aiming for a peaceful feel.

My third piece for the blog, made over the summer. I used a wine glass filled with water and an olive oil bottle for the "wine" bottle. I painted it in green watercolor, used black watercolor mixed with green water color for the shadows, and used red and gray pastel for the background.

This is the final project i completed in Drawing 1. I made it out of graphite. The inspiration was my step-father's ship collection that sits on the mantle of the fireplace.

This was my self portrait from Drawing 1. Graphite as well.
A concentration peice I did last year. acrylic on canvas. It's a fly.
Another concentration peice i did last year. Acrylic on masonite. it's a beetle.

a sketch i did a week ago. still not finished. graphite on paper.

I made this in drawing 2 it's made out of pastel. It is just a self
portrait in black in white.

I made this out of acrylic paint on a white canvas. I painted it this
summer at a park with my inspirtation being a satue of a
woman and a man's face.

I made this piece also in drawing 2 last year. It is made
out of colored pencil. I did the colors in blue and orange cause they
contrast eachother well.
