This guy..

This is my first painting from last year in ap art. It's mostly acrylic paints, but I added the face in with fine point sharpie. For my first I thought i did alright! The middle cloud is suppose to symbolize the illuminati triangle, just a FYI.

Better late than never haha

My first painting ever. I thought i did decent, but then again that's just my view. This is a calabo of acrylics and sharpie! The top makes me think of heaven shining through dark clouds of sin, this took me a good 4 hours or so haha.
This is chalk pastel and graphite. It's suppose to symbolize decay as a result of smoking. If you see closely the smoke being blown out is in the shape of a broken heart.

I love my tree guy. This is oil pastel. Not quite finished I could add more.

NOTE: I removed a couple pictures from this post for PR purposes. Still fine to use them for AP portfolio.

"...cant tell if im asleep or im awake, il just sit n wait..." domo genesis!

This is a self portrait of me obviously. I went back to the basics and used graphite for the entire piece. I don't quite feel like it's completely finished but I dont know what to add.. any suggestions?

This is my abstract piece of a picture of clouds made of oil pastels. I think i could've done better with this honestly.
I used chalk pastels for this piece and i thought i did pretty good with it.

still life, what else is there to say haha.

a self portrait of me tagging my face on a wall, i tried to make it so it sent out a message that i decide who i am ya know?

Jesse Reno!

Jesse Reno works mostly with oil pastels, acrylics, and some sort of pencil; his site does not say what kind. I would describe his artwork as amazing! He finds many ways to interpret many different ideas into one piece and that’s sort of what I try to do with my pieces. He gives out a message with his pieces and when I start a piece I usually think what could this piece say. I like that his pieces are original, they’re very unique. I also like that he interprets his heritage with modern day ideas but makes it his own visual representation of what it looks like. His pieces make me think of him as a modern day caveman, I think it’s because of his style and because words were interpreted through pictures back in the day. This might influence my work by giving me a goal to aim for. He’s pretty much found his style it’s very clear through all his pieces that it has the “Jesse Reno” touch and that’s something I have to work for. As well as that I have to work with mixing Medias, which is something I suck at. But practice makes perfect! His work inspires me to encourage random thoughts into my drawings, if that made any sense at all. Above is a picture of him and one of his art pieces that i found on his site jessereno.com As you can see it has a wide variety of values and colors, amazing huh?

Jason c!

This piece is made of graphite pencil and colored pencils. I made this piece have a meaning with the words to add more intrest, it was just something that popped into my head at the time.
This piece I made in drawing studio last year I think? I thought it was one my best pieces of that class which is why i chose it. It's made of graphite pencil. It was hard to to incorporate hands in a landscape but in the end personally I thought I did really well with it.

This is a charcoal drawing of a wooden toy which has string as well. I used lighting to show the different materials as well as to show the size of the toy.

This piece started as a doodle in maple crest and ended up being my summer piece. I tried to make the piece have really noticeable bright colors and dark colors right next to each other. And as well as that I tried to make him have a lot of expression on his face.
