my scores, and to the new ap art students

I ended up getting a 4 for both the ap drawing portfolio and for the ap 2d portfolio.

And for the new student: I would highly recommend doing what Mrs. Timko says, trust me. :) Get to work as soon as possible and avoid doing things until the end. The year is going to fly on by before you know it, so work hard and have fun. :) Good luck to all of you! And I'll see some of you in Alberta Street this summer.

Howdy :)

I think I'm missing a still life, and maybe some pieces with different materials. I need to reshoot some pictures because of the lighting. Some of the strongest pieces are of people, so that's why I'm pretty much doing my concentration on that. There's still some stuff I'd like to either replace or touch up.

PEEK A BOO!

This is an unfinished piece of Cody, I'm not so sure i want to only keep it as a graphite drawing.

This is a drawing i did on my sketchbook that i decided to add color too; it's not finished yet. So far it's only graphite and water colors.

This is a finished piece, self portrait. I used conte crayon, acrylic paint, graphite, and a black sharpie.

This is a piece that I edited, I'm still not so sure of it. Its all done with acrylic.

im showing amil how to do this blog thingy; pay no attention to what im about to post :)

im telling amil that in this part we talk about what we did and what we used to make the piece. for example, in this piece i photographed blah blah blah, and worked with photoshop blah blah blah

happy early valentine's day :) :) :) :)

This is a drawing I did on a canvas, I was planning to paint it but I haven't gotten around to it. I'm thinking it was probably a bad idea to use graphite under where acrylic will be.

This is the finished piece of Kayla :) I finally finished it.

This is a collage I did during summer, with stuff from Alberta Street, there's some drawings in there as well, and writing too.

This is something i did during class awhile back. Its mostly acrylic, and some maker.

IT"S FRIIIIIDAY

These are all concentration pieces, done with markers, charcoal, highlighters, sharpies, acrylic paint, watercolors, colored pencils, and graphite.

This one is me with a mangnifying glass.

This is Justin, finally done.

And this is Kayla, still not done with it.

Miriam's slides :-)

This is Justin, and I did this piece with charcoal, graphite, acrylic paint, watercolors, markers, highlighters, and some colored pencils. (it's not done yet)

This is just a painting I decided to do, it's done with acrylic paint.

This is Lilia holding a magnifying glass to her teeth :) It's done in charcoal, sharpie, watercolors, colored pencils, a bit of pastels, and some graphite.

Miriam Huerta :)

This portrait is of a woman, I used a reference picture and acrylic paint. We were supposed to only use black and white and mix our own grays.

This landcape picture was done on wood with acrylic paint.

This tree is something i just did last year when I had nothing else to do and wanted to play with paint, its one of the first paintings I did on canvas.

This is my paper crane inspired piece. Its done with acrylic paint and graphite, which will be covered by ink soon.

This is just a piece I did at home, I used water colors, acrylic paint, and markers.

This is a painting I did last year for paint class, we had to use reference pictures for the foreground, middle, and background. Its done on wood using acrylic paints.
