Fishy!!!!!

These are all for my concentration which is reflections. This one, I wrote on the mirror so on the reflection you can see some of the writing.
This one is a fish tank and I thought the way the reflection of the girl walking kinda looks like she is under water. It is a little grainy but I like the look for this picture.
This one I put a white flower on the mirror and had some drapery. I put a filter on it to make it the shadows be blacker and the whites brighter.

KA POW!!!

This picture I took in Hawaii and I love the contrast of blue and green.
I like this picture of the skull because of the way the color is and how only half of the skull is visable.

This is a picture of a calla lilly close up of the middle.

Oohh La La

I am working with reflections and I liked the way the flame refelected on the glass.
These are christmas lights and I had my camera on a different setting and this was the outcome. I am going to try this more often.

Here is another picture like the one above.

I saw the grandfather clock and the way the pendulum was moving and thought it would make a cool picture. This is what it did.

Ta-da!

This I took for accidental art. I liked the way the graffiti look on the bench. In photoshop I made the blue bluer and polorized it to stand out more.
This will be part of my concentration, relfections. It's one of the weights to a grandfather clock with the relection of the christmas tree lights.

I set the rose on my footboard and saw that it had it a reflection, then i edited it in photoshop by making it more polarized and painted the background black to match the footboard. Will be part of my concentration.

Unity and Variety

For this week, I was working on unity and varity. I used the shells and took a bunch of pics and I thought this one was interesting because the shells looked stacked and there is different colors and shapes of shells.
For this picture I had purple and yellow colored squares and lined up paint brushes in different ways. I like this one because the perspective is interesting and where it focused in at.

I had an idea for pattern to use the skull's teeth. This was my favorite picture out of them all.

AP Art Photos

This was for the accidental art project. I messed with my settings on my camera and didn't use a tripod so it turned out blurry. I played with the levels and got the light to look more bright in some places and darker in others.
I took this picture in California, and I didn't know how I got the sun glare, so I quit taking pictures of this statue. Then when we did accidental art, it made more sense and I like it now. It givves it an angel look.

Me and my family went hiking one day to a waterfall, and I took a bunch of pictures. I love the way the water shows up and how green the moss is.

My Photo Experience

Hello, I'm Tanya R. I have taken photo 1&2 and I loved it so much I'm in AP photo now. I don't like to leave the house without my camera because if I see something I want to take a piture of I have my camera with my and don't have to worry about figuring out how to take it later. Black and white photos are my favorite because they are timeless. And taking pictures of flowers and nature is what I like to do. One of my favorite photographers is Dorthea Lange because she captures the emotion of her subject at that time.
