Did you use graphite on grey paper? Needs more contrast! Maybe paint the paper white? Make darker parts darker?
Definitely think you should use a 2B or darker pencil to go over most of it for contrast. I love the lack of white paper, it's much more unique that way. But... it's flat. You could use a layout pencil, that would definitely darken it up. Or charcoals, but that's a severe commitment.
i was thinking you could maybe make the drawing darker
dangit. timko beat me. but still. darker would make it stand out more
