Danielle's Slides
This is a page out of my sketchbook. I'm going to make it better and I think I'm going to use charcoal and maybe chalk pastel.
This is wasn't finished when i took the picture, but i finished it right after. I did most of it in charcoal but in the end i used chalk pastel to put a little dark blue in his hair and made his eyes brown. and i did the background in bright orange using oil pastel.
This is a drawing I did of my glasses using charcoal.
Blah, Today was a good day! Happy Friday! :]
Finished, I like it alot, like the colors, designs and such.
Kayla Peal/3 Slides
I just finished this one this week, I like working with pens. but I saw
that sharpies made alot of noticiable lines so im going to try using different pens
on my next piece.
I had two other pieces at home that I wanted to photograph
but I dont own a camera so I had to post something from my sketchbook.
Its sketches of found art when we had to do the homework assignment about it.
This is the lamp thats keeps haunting me, I don't think it
shows my art ability at all. I just finished a charcoal drawing and I was
tired of working with it. So this lamp is not and never will be finished :)

This is the final sketch I did for a painting in Donahue's class. I am using acrylic over masonite. Even though the masonite board isn't square, the lines have put down look good and how I wanted them.
This is a picture I did when I was bored at the end of the year. Even though intentional very unbalanced.I really like the cape though, as well as how I did the face. I could see my self doing something similar but I would want to play with the composition before doing the final.

BLOG ASSIGNMENT 12/11
- Do your monthly blog post: 3 edited slides with short commentary on each piece. Please do ONE POST ONLY, (i.e., do not post three pieces in three separate posts). Please try to finish your post by about halfway through class to leave time for comments. (4 points)
- THEN, starting about halfway through class, you will make four comments on four different blog posts from the month of December. Please do not comment on someone's work that already has four comments. When you are finished, everyone should have four comments on their own post. These comments should consist of encouragement, critique, and other constructive feedback. Please be specific about what you like or what you think needs improvement. (1 point for each comment, 4 total)
- If you have time today, please go back to all of your past posts and make sure they are labeled with your first name (spelled correctly) and the word "slides." Look to the "labels" list on the upper right side of this page to look for your name and to see how many slide posts you have done.
